A world famous room in Russia that was highly decorated with amber and gold was looted by the Germans during World War II. This was one of the greatest treasures of Russia, was even considered the 8th wonder of the world and an artistic masterpiece. The room was attempted to be hidden from the Germans to keep them from disassembling it and was disguised with average looking wallpaper. But this attempt epically failed and the Nazi’s seized all the artwork. The collections from the room mysteriously disappeared ever since and having been found to this day. The entire room was reportedly loaded on a German boat but no one has seen it since. Some claim the boat was torpedoed and the plunder from the room is somewhere underwater. Others feel as though it was loaded onto trucks and taken to Konigsberg where it was kept until its evacuation was ordered by Albert Speer, but it is not known if it even made it out of Konigsberg. The whole city and the castle it was stored at was fire bombed heavily by the Red Army and left in ruins.
