A new report warns that even if you’ve never sent your DNA to a database or genealogy service, your genetic profile could still be online because of your distant relatives. Not only can law enforcement invade your genetic privacy by tracing your DNA from relatives in the data base, but the information thereon is vulnerable to hacking.
