In the third round of the MXGP championship season, Tony Cairoli took both checkered flags in the Netherlands. Although falling behind periodically throughout the first race, Cairoli retook the lead after multiple crashes in the field. He added 50 points to his overall lead in the standings, putting him 25 points ahead of second place Tim Gajser. Mick Schumacher, son of legendary racer Michael Schumacher, made his Formula 1 debut in a test for Ferrari. Toyota Motors created a basketball robot in Japan called CUE3. The 6’10” tall machine shoots 62.5 percent from the 3-point line, beating out some NBA stars. RT America’s Steve Christakos reports.
