The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has approved the use of the Pfizer / BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to the UK government.
Chief Executive Dr June Raine outlined the ‘extremely through and scientifically rigorous review’ that the agency has gone through to approve the vaccine.
