Welcome back, Richest fans! When someone gets really wealthy, a superyacht is often high up on the shopping list. After all, who doesn’t want to escape the world for a bit at sea. But then, these rich folks have to consider how much to spend. $1 million or $1 billion? Is there that much of a difference? Well, that’s what we’re going to examine today! We have a list of boats that meet either amount. Some of which are even for sale right now! We’ll explore them inside and out as well as see the history of the vessels. On top of this, we’ll look at boats that can be rented, or chartered, for similar amounts per year!
Now for the spoiler paragraph. If you like surprises, we suggest you stop reading and watch the video multiple times. Firstly, we have a previous world record holder that’s on the market. It’s named after the iconic Brigitte Bardot. We then have the Azzam yacht that’s owned by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. There’s the Kelpie of Falmouth that channels our inner Jack Sparrow. We’ll then see the incredible yacht, the Eclipse, that’s owned by Roman Abramovich. We’ll then dive into the realm of chartered vessels. In the billion-dollar club, we have the Scenic Eclipse that’s a cruise liner mixed with a research ship. Also, at a similar cost, there’s one of the most expensive ships that’s available for charter, the Flying Fox. Finally, we’ll look at the pricey design concept for a ship named The Streets of Monaco.
